Carbon Fiber Thickness Measurement

We have recently received requests from some customers to measure the thickness of carbon fiber materials, including carbon fiber UAV parts and carbon fiber auto parts sent by aviation, aerospace, national defense and civil companies. The general thickness is about 1-3mm.

After testing and verification, we use PM-5 series high accuracy ultrasonic thickness gauge and high-frequency single element probe to measure, which solved the carbon fiber thickness measurement problem very well.

The thickness of carbon fiber composite material is not uniform. After obtaining the standard velocity through the known thickness, multipoint measurement is taken, make the probe and the workpiece are coupled well, the value can be verified through the waveform. In this way, the situation of the carbon fiber parts can be judged by combining the thickness data of each point.

PM-5 series ultrasonic thickness gauge measures the thickness of carbon fiber composite materials very quickly, simply and accurately, which is the main method to control product quality.
